Some exciting things...

Some exciting things were accomplished this past weekend that I want to share with you.

First, we got some new furniture for the entertainment/bonus room. We spend all of our time in this room and it is by far not what I would consider an adult/couple room, instead it is more of a bachelor room. So call me redneck if you like, but these recliners are the most comfortable recliners I have ever sat in.
With the help of my brothers fiance, I finally got the office painted. When we decided to paint the office, I had imagined a blue/gray color. I absolutely did not want a freakin' nursery for the office. Well, the twat that works at Lowe's doesn't know how to mix paint, because I have a freakin baby boys nursery.
This wasn't even the room we were gonna use for a nursery. Oh well, I'm too lazy to paint again, so if we have a baby boy first, we will already be 1 step ahead of the game.

On a happier note, after $180 and 20 months later, I finally got these things framed. We got these at the Daytona Speedway when we went in 2008. They are an odd size and did not come framed. We paid $120 alone for the stupid frames, but it is so worth it to have them on the wall in the entertainment room. I love me some Dale Jr.
There is still some more projects I have in mind for the house, luckily all the painting is done. I'm excited for the future and can't wait to see what's in store for Josh and I.

Hope everyone has a great St. Patrick's Day. Be safe!

If I knew then...

what I know now, I would have:

*gone to the party after my senior prom...actually I would have gone to a high school party...period
*never gotten that credit card when I turned 18
*stayed friends with you instead
*payed attention when she was making the best spaghetti ever...oh the things I would do for some of her spaghetti right now.
*prepared a lot more for Miss Tennessee
*gotten braces earlier in life
*never gone to Lipscomb for part of my college...they screwed me over big time!
*never went behind your back because it wrecked a gorgeous truck!
*taken a computer class
*never babysat his daughter that night
*never told her so much about my personal life or my family's business
*hired someone to paint my living room
*done what I did sooner

and finally...

If I knew then what I know now, I would have....

*had a hell of a lot more fun from 2003- 2007 and I definitely wouldn't have begged to go to Wendy's on White Bridge Road all the time.

I'm such a Slacker...

It's official...I'm a horrible blogger! I really am down right horrible with this mess. I should be punished for slacking so much, but in my defense...I am newly married and have been pretty busy.
If it wasn't for the ladies of an online community that I have become devoted to over the last few months, I wouldn't have even thought twice about getting back into the blogging world. I started thinking the other morning on my way to work that I needed to start getting back into this, so here I am....again...but I'm gonna stay this time...promise!

There hasn't been a lot going on in my world, other then the wedding. It was perfect. My dad performed the ceremony and did such a great job. Between Josh and my dad, there was no way they were gonna let me cry. Josh made me laugh the entire time and not one tear was shed. Which, is a HUGE deal because I am such a big baby!

Josh and I didn't go on a honeymoon. We are going to wait until sometime later this year to go on a nice vacation. I was really concerned with just going home after the wedding, but Josh surprised me with a stay at the Lowe's Vanderbilt Plaza downtown. We were 1 of 2 suites that had a balcony that overlooked downtown. It was perfect.

I think this shall be all for now. I have a ton of stuff that I want to write about, but I think I will save them for all my other blogs that I will soon be writing. I promise, I will catch up on this blogging thing sooner (or later if I continue to slack).
